APEX is a hypobaric chamber designed for altitude training up to eight thousand metres.
Used by elite performance athletes, mountain climbers, pilots, even astronauts, the hypobaric chamber builds hypoxia tolerance, the tolerance to low oxygen levels.
APEX simulates negative pressure conditions found at high altitudes.
The higher you climb, the more challenging for your body to perform under hypoxic conditions.
This triggers your body’s adaptive defences, including the natural production of the EPO hormone, essential for red blood cell production, increasing the availability of oxygen to the muscles.
